Family Friendly
Celebrate Halloween with the family at the City of Malibu’s annual Halloween Carnival on October 28. This event is perfect for kids ages 2-10, and will feature a costume parade, carnival games, bounce houses, and food trucks. There’s even trick or treating along the city’s hiking trails, where children can gather treats from Halloween characters. This free event is sure to get you in a spooky good mood.
If you’re a new parent looking to bond with your child and meet other new families in the community, the Fall Family Fest sponsored by Mom.me is perfect. Enjoy delicious food, fun entertainment, and luxury pampering for moms. It’s a day to be inspired, have fun with the little ones, and connect with other moms and moms-to-be. Located at Calamigos Ranch, moms can spend time in the pamper lounge while the kids play music or even interact with a princess. Finish the day with a family hip-hop class and a gourmet meal!
Food-Centric
The 10th Annual Calabasas-Malibu Food & Wine Festival is coming October 13-16, and it’s an event you don’t want to miss. Enjoy the season’s harvest in beautiful Malibu and Calabasas! Your ticket includes a special tasting of world-class wines, beers, spirits, and delicious food featuring fall ingredients; all while helping raise money for the Boys & Girls Club of The West Valley.
Check out Octoberfest at the Malibu Café this October! Head there on October 8 for a live band, lawn games, and all-you-can-eat food and beer tasting. Nothing says fall like a beer, a pretzel, and some leiderhosen!
More Fall Fun
Enjoy a movie under the stars with your friends and a bottle of wine at Malibu Wines! Every Friday night in October they’ll be screening a Halloween film, like Hocus Pocus and The Exorcist. So whether you like goofy or scary, join them for an evening of wine and classic cinema under the stars!
Get the most of the fall bounty at the a farmers market! Pick up some seasonal produce, snack on gourmet prepared foods and coffee, then head to the artisan market. Spend your morning browsing fresh produce, home furnishings, handmade jewelry, ceramics, gift baskets, soaps, candles, as well as greeting cards.
